Unholy Waters: Drag at the Edge of the Sea is an energy filled, genre-bending drag showcase where glamour, chaos, and queerness collide at the SMCC Shoreline. Inspired by the ocean’s beauty, danger, and mystery, this show invites performers to explore everything from sirens and sea monsters to stormy emotions, myth, fantasy, and the unknown. 

Produced by Crown & Chaos, this show features a dynamic lineup of drag artists, creatures, and performers. Unholy Waters celebrates bold self-expression, theatrical storytelling, and unapologetic individuality. Expect drag that is dark, playful, powerful, sexy, strange — and occasionally a little unhinged — all washed ashore with salt, seaweed, and spectacle. 

“Drag at the Edge of the Sea” encourages performers to take their art to the edge, inviting audiences to experience bold creativity, expansive emotion, and the many forms identity can take.

Since 2015, Port City Peep Show has curated exciting, innovative shows featuring a wide range of performing artists from New England and beyond! ALL ARE WELCOME to attend a thrilling Friday the 13th spectacle to help us burn off the winter blues with live music, striptease, drag, and puppets! Cash tips for performers are always welcome, and 15% of all ticket sales will go to benefit Through These Doors, an organization providing safety and support to survivors of intimate partner violence right here in Cumberland County. LIMITED tickets will be available at the door for $15 (cash or venmo only).

This round, we’re sinking our teeth into the original 1960 Little Shop of Horrors — a low‑budget fever dream featuring a man‑eating plant, a frantic flower shop, and a very confused Jack Nicholson. It’s a cult classic that’s equal parts terrible and irresistible, and absolutely begging to be roasted.

oin us at THE COTTAGE on Saturday March 7 for ReHeated Rivalry, a celebration of the ICY hot book and TV series phenomenon, Heated Rivalry.

We will be featuring Maine’s favorite hunky and twunky Drag Kings performing in a Drag Show focusing on the Heated Rivalry visual lore. Being in our audience not only means you are a part of a safe and welcoming space for all LGBTQAI+ members but also the opportunity to be a part of the show itself with live interactive book readings led by a master story teller and a smoothie cooking show segment led by a novice chef.

We welcome you to our Boy Aquarium at the Equality Community Center in Portland, ME which will also feature an air hockey tournament, themed cocktails from Cocktail Mary’s & mocktails from Drinks With Jam as well as a post show dance party with music curated by DJ Rexx Chaos. Take your shot at our raffle with iconic local items from area businesses. All raffle proceeds go to the Equality Community Center Library.

We will have a literature donation ceremony at the show with a generous book donation from Bull Moose of author Rachel Reid’s entire game changer book series Heated Rivalry to be donated to ECC library.

Adorn yourself in your finest jock gear for a chance to win a prize even cooler than the Stanley Cup.
